The art and science of Twinmotion animations?

Fri 23 Feb 2018 01:49

Is there a best practices document that describes how to fine tune animations? Creating them is easy but adjusting them to smooth out jerky movement or awkward transitions is hard. Can the speed of individual frames be adjusted? In some cases the movement is too fast for what I'm walking through and I'd like to slow it down a bit.

This program has made staying up all night for a project a lot more rewarding. Congratulations on bringing the fun back to work. :D

I agree, I cannot understand how the speed is divided relating to the length of the video. Some parts move much faster than others, I haven't figured out where the speed change is based on. Any help would be appreciated on this one

Hi
You can control the lengt of each clip. The default is 10 seconds. If you make it longer, the speed between each keyframe is slower.
Hope this helps
Kind regards

Dear all,

It's not possible to adjust the movement of the camera in Twinmotion. Once the start and the end point is fixed, Twinmotion calculates automatically the path of the camera to create a movie. What you can do is to create multiple short clips and put them together using the edit tool.
