Installing patch Twinmotion 2019.0.13400

Tue 10 Jul 2018 10:15

When trying to install the patch from the product manager (while twinmotion is not running), I am asked in what directory I want to install it.
Of course I want to install it in the directory the initial version is installed in (c:\\program Files\Twinmotion 2019), but then I get a warning this directory is not empty and I need to install into another diorectory. Do I need to uninstall the previous version? What happens with my old settings?

Why not just do it like it is with all patches? Just patch the old version without uninstalling!!!

Hi Ger,
Is this the first time you have this installation issue? What about the patch of the last time which fixed the Measure tool?
Could you please let us know your Windows version and configurations?

I installed the download version (as trial) a few days ago, and got an update warning yesterday. Downloaded that with the update manager and when trying to install, I got the error. Then tried to reboot and startup Update manager again to install the update, and again the error. So I don't know about a previous update.

It's a new Win10 machine with everything uptodate (incl. NVidia drivers): I9 7980XE, 128 GB RAM, 2x GFX 1080TI

Thanks for this precision. Our team will dig into it.
For the time being, the fastest solution is to remove all the content manually under the Twinmotion 2019 directory: C:\Program Files\Twinmotion 2019

Best,
